Hospice Care

Hospice of Hope provides a special kind of care and support for persons in the last phases of a life-limiting illness so that they may live as comfortable as possible. This special form of care emphasizes on comfort and the quality of life rather than length of life.  Being on hospice does not mean the patient is confined to a bed. The goal of hospice care is to allow people to live their final days with dignity, comfort, relieve pain and suffering, and provide support. Patients are cared for in the setting that they consider to be "Home". This can be in the patient’s own home, or an assisted living facility, residential care facility, a nursing home or contracted inpatient facility.
